i haven't posted in a while so i thought i'd put up some pics of all the happening going on in our little family! Bridger is now fully potty trained...YAY.

the kids and i attended the annual tea party that aidan's sisters have! it was a lot of fun the food was out of this world!

the girls got to dress up as fairies!

this is gracies first time to eat veggies and she loves food! i haven't found one thing yet that she wont eat.

bridger loves his little sister.on september 8th bridger turned 3! he wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday and we did!

he loved the animals but i think his favorite was dancing to the african music at the elephant exhibit!

aidan insisted i put up this pic (i look terrible) however it's pretty funny! gracie spit up all over my face....good thing my mouth was closed =)

we welcomed our newest cousin mya into the fam! the two girls are so cute together.

and finally we made four cakes this summer two in the same week.

it's been crazy busy but lots of fun! now my favorite time of year coming up the holidays! i'm already thinking about christmas!

we blessed Gracie on june 5th and it was a wonderful day! she was absolutely beautiful! i finally captured a smile on camera too!

i have felt so blessed lately i have been given so much! my children are the best gifts i could ever receive and i love them so so so so so much! i'm grateful that i get to be a mom and i can only pray for the very best for my children! i'm also blessed by all my family and i'm so grateful for all of them that are in my life! Thank you, thank you, thank you, to aidan's parents and grandparents! i don't think we can thank you enough! they gave us a car the day of gracies blessing! (we have been using only one car for most of our marriage) it was an amazing surprise! i'll have to take some pictures of it soon!

we decided to go on a family activity to take bridger bowling for the first time. it was a lot of fun this first pic is just my babies all being lazy lol!
the pics loaded backwards oops! but this is aidan and bridger at our favorite pizza place! well we like the cheese sticks actually! we went there after bowling!the bridge loved it he had so much fun and it helped him to learn how to take turns cuz he wanted to bowl every time but he had to wait his turn!

these next few pics are of memorial day! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this holiday! the cemeteries are always so pretty and i like that my little girl is in one of the prettiest places for that weekend! it brings a little peace to my heart to know that she is remembered! i forgot to take pics of family but bridger loved running around the headstones and waving a little flag that i had brought!

we love easter at our house!
the easter bunny came saturday mourning and boy he sure did bring the goods! (it's so hard not to buy everything in the store for your babies)

even gracie got a basket! she pretty much was crashed on the couch the entire time bridger hunted for eggs.

my family has the tradition of rolling the easter eggs and i'm going to pass it on to my children! i know to most of you it's a little weird but my mom remembers when she was little they would all roll eggs down the hill at the manti temple.

and yes we rolled the eggs right by the no littering sign =)

bridger was running around in our tiny condo to find the eggs just look at that face!

he is still talking about finding easter eggs he had so much fun.

here we are coloring them. he loved it a lot we made monster eggs and only had a few egg deaths!

she is finally here! well kinda finally since she came 4 1/2 weeks early. i had her on the 22nd tuesday morning at 6:34. she weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 20 inches long! she had a few breathing issues but nothing major. we are all in love with her so much! bridger loves her too and is a big help (well he tries to be) anyhoo here is a bunch of pics.

five missing candles

today there should have been a birthday cake with five candles on it. instead there is just one pink headstone with two adorable little ruby shoes tied on. the only gifts a mother gets to give her her oldest baby on her birthday. i'd like to think that one day she'll use those shoes like dorthy from the "wizard of ozz" and find her way back home. i can just see her walking down a yellow brick road holding her little sisters hand getting her ready to come to her family. i just pray that she helps her get here safely. there is not a day that goes by that my heart doesn't ache for my sweet ella. she will always be my little girl and i will always wonder what might have been. i watch bridger play and am amazed by his personality and feel a special spark in life is missing because she is not here. i can only look forward to the day i'll get to see her again. i am so grateful for the atonement and all that Christ did for us just so we could all be a family together again. so for now i'll hold on to the precious little angels i do have and enjoy every moment i get with them. then when the time comes (hopefully when i'm old and grey) and i've learned all i need to learn i'll use those Ruby red shoes and click those little heals and repeat "there is no place like home". that will be the best family reunion i could ever imagine.

so if you know me and know me pretty well you know that i hate winnie the pooh! i think it's terrible that they named the bear after fecal matter! however i have introduced winnie the poop and yes i mean to call him poop to bridger so that he does not miss out on the good'ol fashion cartoon. we have one movie and it's when roo meets lumpy the hefalump. bridger loves this movie and likes to watch it over and over! so i thought due to some recent events that i would put a warning out to all of you. if you watch this movie more than 50 times, like i have, you will end up with a lump on your neck. cuz i'm pretty darn sure that is the curse of the movie and i have now named my lump, lumpy after a hefalump (since i feel like a huge elephant atm) i did get an ultrasound and lumpy is definitely on my thyroid and he's huge! next step will be a biopsy to make sure it's benign which cross your fingers it is. however they can't do much about it now due to my condition (being preggo) but will most likely have surgery to get it cut out after the baby's born. so winnie the poop i blame this all on you!

well yes it's been a while since i posted and i have good reason! i have been very very sick the last 3 months and am finally able to keep my food down and not just lay on the couch all day! i have a ton to catch up on now and first things first will be catch up on cleaning my house. but the good news is we are expecting! yay my due date is April 16th! hopefully i'll get some pics on here soon of all the fun stuff that has happened in the last while but it might be a while!

this is poor bridger after we took a short walk in redmond one evening and he had over 50 mosquito bite he had to have calamine lotion on him for the next few days =(.

we just made another wedding cake and yes this is exactly what the girl wanted she sent us a picture and what she wanted for colors! this cake turned out amazing i loved it! and it does look a little slanted on the pictures but wasn't so i think it was my skills as photographer!

ok so i have the most difficult time working out! i always have some excuse for not doing it such as there are snakes on the road (i saw 3 in the length of a football field) i can't afford to get a gym pass or buy that expensive video, or it's just to far to travel and i don't have a babysitter! but i have no excuses anymore i just found this website and did a full one hour boot camp video FREE! i loved it! i can do it in my own home and watch bridger at the same time and nobody can see my flab flabbing around and did i mention it's FREE! i also put it up here cause usually i'm better at doing things when i have it in writing and i thought maybe you guys might like it too! anyhoo here is the link!

we went down to richfield to the goodwin family get-together and where able to spend some time with aidans family! Bridger had sucha blast playing with the other kids and being outside and running around! here he is with his cousin lele! she is crawling around and i guess bridger thought it would be fun to join her!
i think he forgot that she was a baby and not his pillow =)

he loved playing the piano with his aunt ashley.

we have decided that bridger is ready for his first bike and even tho his birthday isn't until sept we got him an early present! he loves it!

i went home this last week for my two beautiful nieces baptisms! then i stayed for a week to make a wedding cake! bridger and yoda came with me and boy did we have a lot of fun! here are pictures from our trip!

this was toward the end of our stay and bridger was all tuckered out and taking a nap on grandpa!

bridger loves his cousins and really enjoys anytime he gets to spend with them!

with it being summer we had a lot of time to play in the water this picture is at the lake we had a very hard time getting bridger out of it! he also got to go to the city pool and play on a slip-n-slide!

this was one of bridgers favorite things to do! he ran to the four-wheeler every time we went outside!

this is the construction of the cake we put a lot of hours into this cake (it was our first paying gig!)

here is the final result the girl we made it for told us just what she wanted and i think it turned out AMAZING!

it was a fun week but it's good to be back home i can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight!

A condo garden looks like this....

so i tried to do a small garden when we lived in the duplex and the stupid neighbors dog at my only zucini! so this year i decided to so a small salsa garden on our deck! i got a really good deal on some plants from IFA they where each 99 cents and then they gave us a free tomato plant and a strawberry plant! anyhoo i've had them for a bit and decided that they really needed to get planted! so yesterday that's what we did. i discovered that bridger loves dirt! i gave him his own spoon (cuz i don't have a shovel and the spoon works just as good) he loved it, at one point he even tried to eat the dirt off his spoon! well here it is three tomato plants two peppers and one strawberry!

ok sorry about another blog with a billion pictures but i take so many now and i just love them they capture so much fun! we went to the tulip festival at thanksgiving point. it was a lot of fun!

Sunny St. George and a Snowy Easter!

so we have been having snow storms in april! on easter i looked out my window and we had a whole bunch of snow on the ground! i decided i'd had it!!!!! so i talked aidan in to going down to st. george and i booked us a motel and we headed off the next day....it was sooo worth it even though we stayed only one night. we went up to snowfall canyon and hiked for a little and then played in the red sand dunes, which bridger loved doing.

this is bridger by his first ever palm tree! this actually was bridger's first ever family vacation and he did so good!

i made sure i booked a motel with a heated pool! bridger is such a water baby he did not want to get out even when he was freezing.

the easter bunny brought him a kite and we were able to go to a park and use it....but only in st george!

due to the 3-4 inches of snow on the ground the easter bunny had to hide the eggs inside. bridger had a lot of fun but didn't want to put them in the basket...he preferred smashing them

against each other.

he did however really like his easter basket!

heather my sister brought over her two boys and they all colored easter eggs. they all had a lot of fun even though bridger was more of a terror rather than a helper, but i wouldn't have it any other way!

My Sweet Little Ella

today is the day that my little girl would have been 4 years old. i can't imagine what life would be like if she where here with us. i'm making a spot in my blog to reflect on my thoughts of her and how special she is to me. i went through a full 9 month of pregnancy and for anyone who has been preggo before you know of that excitement that comes the moment you find out that you are expecting. then the day you hear the heart beat, the first movement that you feel and that ultrasound finding out that i was having a little girl! my whole life i wanted nothing more than to have a family. to give all the love that i have to a special little person of my own. i've always looked at children with such love and just feel the spirit radiate from them. however i never really knew what it would be like to fully love a child as i did my own. well my first pregnancy went perfect until the end. there where no signs of problems. that little girl was healthy and seemed to me to be very active and happy. i couldn't wait! but on march 10, 2006 my heart was shattered and will never again be completely put back together. the doc couldn't find a heartbeat and at that moment i knew that i would never see my little girl alive in this life. it's hard to explain what kind of pain that is because i can't really explain how much i love my children to give you the full effect. there are no words for that kind of sorrow. my sister in law said it really well when telling her sister what it was like to be a mom. aubry said, "it's like having your heart in someone else. you just don't realize how much you can love someone." this is pretty accurate it really felt that way while at the same time i experienced what felt like my heart had just stopped beating. it died that day with my sweet ella. however difficult those hours, i knew that i was being watched over and taken care of. in those same moments is when i really truly understood our heavenly father. i never felt as close to god as i did in that hospital room. i knew that angels where watching over me and my family i could just feel them crowding the room. i knew how important Jesus Christ and his atonement is. he was the reason that i'm going to get to be with my little girl again. i'm terrible at bearing my testimony in public (due to my extreme shyness) but i will tell you all right now that i know Christ lives. i know that he is with my little baby right know. i know that he has a plan for me whether it's the one i want or not! he loves us so very much and he really does carry me when i can't seem to take another step. i love my family, my husband, my little bridger and even my dog! they have been my strength over these past four years and are the keys to having helped me put my heart back together as best as it can be! i miss you my sweet ella and your momma always will!

ok so i've decided that i'm going to make a blog about photography! however it will be a fun blog and a shared blog for anyone to do. here's how it will work i'll put out a theme for every two weeks and that theme is what you and myself can take photo's of. it could be anything like windows, love, self portrait and your interpretation. then you send them to me and i can post them on the blog! it's obviously a blog for amateurs but that's ok. it's supposed to be just for fun but also so we can get an eye for photography. so anyone can do it no matter what kinda camera or skill level. we could even do spotlights and stuff etc. but here is the deal i need to think of a name for it before i can do it soooo..... all you creative friends and family please post your suggestions! thanks

the weather has been warming up a bit so we have been spending some time outside! i have found the best part it's so pretty and i get to take a ton of fun pics. i can't wait for spring and summer to get here...

this is aidan and i with matching hats so we took a pic and he made me post it!
briger's fairy godmother came up for a short visit and he had a blast seeing her! thanks becca we had tons of fun!

this is after the park adian ran to wall-mart and i was on the couch reading. bridger started to be very quiet and when i looked up he had pulled the disgusting door mat on to himself like a blanket and fell asleep in the corner! he was one tired little boy and yes i do have plenty of blankets for the little guy he just likes the rug for some reason!

i don't like very many pics of myself (hence why there are so few of me that i post) but i like this one... well for the most part! the little boy in it just makes it wonderful!

alright so i have decided it's time for a major spring cleaning (i feel that if i call it spring cleaning maybe spring will come faster) and i found this in my closet and thought it was pretty cool that once upon a time i drew it! (natalie from snow will remember this) it was part of our art class final! we had to draw a self portrait....so i think i drew three or four can't really remember but anyhoo i found this one. wow i look young and skinny in it and it's just my face lol! those where some fun times back @ snow wish i could still play sand v ball every afternoon stay up until 4 and sleep in until 4 (i have no idea how i graduated). i would have posted some other drawings but i realized they really aren't all that good so i'm sparing you but hope you have fun thinking of your school experiences too! i have this problem every time i try to deep clean i just find stuff and get side tracked on a road down memory lane!

i made my nieces play model for me however they were very difficult to get them all to smile at the same time and little raven is quite the character and likes to pull faces but we had a fun time!

aidan's 31st birthday

we celebrated aidan's 31st birthday on jan 9th! we had a lot of fun we took bridger to my sisters to babysit and we went to dinner and a movie (Avatar...and i loved it) then we came back and had cake and ice cream.
bridger had fun delivering aidan his birthday presents while riding in the back of his huge tonka truck!

christmas

christmas this year was better than i could have ever imagined! we had two of my sisters and there families over for christmas eve dinner. we played games with them until aidan had to go to work. that night i couldn't hardly sleep a wink due to extreme excitment for the following morning. but it finally came and bridger was soo much fun once he realized what was going on. santa brought bridger a rocking horse that sings a song and talks his mouth even moves like he is really speaking. it was a lot of fun bridger couldn't decide which toy he wanted to play with and kept running from one toy to the next! i got a new camera from aidan a really really nice camera! unfortuanatly i opened it at the end of the unwraping of presents and had been taking pictures with an oldschool camera that used film! but i have taken a whole bunch of pictures over the hoilday of family and all the fun activities we have been doing! i hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and was able to spend time with family and enjoy the spirit of christ!

my favorite time of year

i love this time of year! christmas is my favorite holiday i am so glad that it lasts a whole month i just wish it went all year! i love the lights, the shopping, wrapping presents, putting up a real christmas tree! just all of it! we have already started in the celebrations the day after christmas i went up the mtn with family to get there christmas trees (haven't got ours cuz i didn't want to do it without aidan) then last sat bridger and i went to my moms house and we made tons of christmas candy! i've hung a garland and lights on our rail and today we went outside and played in the snow. when we came back in we had hot chocolate and made a gingerbread house! bridger loved eating as much candy as he could we had to strap him into his chair cuz he kept climbing onto the table and trying to grab the candy off the little house. it was a lot of fun and i can't wait for all the fun exciting things to come this special month!

this was thanksgiving we had so much fun norma and grandpa fell asleep after dinner!

this was us up in the mountains while my sisters got there christmas trees bridger had so much fun!

we made hats that every one had to wear for our dinner (yes the picketts are a little strange but are always ready for a good laugh). we also made the little turkey oranges and decoration for the tables.

our halloween this year wasn't too eventful but we still had fun! for our family night (which was on a tuesday cuz it was aidan's night off) we decided to carve pumpkins! we got three one for each of us but after carving bridger's pumpkin i was done!

bridger's pumpkin is on the left i carved that one and aidan's is on the right his is all scary ;)

we dressed the little guy up as a pumpkin he wouldn't leave his hat on for very long. i dressed up as a sexy devil however i didn't get a pic of me =( and aidan didn't dress up he just went to work.

my sister misty invited us to go to the zoo today with her family. so we went and boy it was a lot of fun! we rode the train and bridger rode the giraffe on the carousal. there were a lot of little baby animals that were just so adorable!

the pickett girls got together and had a girls night out! it was a lot of fun we went shopping, out to dinner to the olive garden, and to see the movie "The Proposal". we had so much fun my sisters are the best and my mom is just amazing! it was great especially not taking the kids.

my little boy is now one! i can't believe how fast time goes. we had a little party on his birthday. i made the cake it is an inchworm. it turned out really cute and was really simple to make. we also had a small cake for bridger to dig into however he fell asleep 10 min before his party started and we had to wake him up so he wasn't really in the mood to make a mess. anyhoo it was a lot of fun.

my friend becca from vegas came to visit us! she brought her dog stella too and we had a lot of fun. bridger just loves dogs here we are taking a break by the creek on a hike up one of the many canyons here in utah.
becca was really good she actually carried the chunk man most of the way and as you can see he loved it until the end then i think he was getting a little tired of being in the back pack.

ok it's been the longest two weeks i've had in a long time! my two sisters were married a week apart (karissa on the 1st and tara on the 8th) they turned out beautiful! i'll have to add better pictures later! so i moved back home for two weeks to help my parents prepare. however my sisters and i decided we wanted to make the cakes... what a process that is it takes many many hours to do but it was a lot of fun and well worth it in the end! we had a lot of mistakes that turned out to be even better then our original plan! anyways i was so impressed with our work they turned out better than i imagined!

alright i finally found the camera! so here are some updated pictures of trouble, and trouble doesn't even cover it! he climbs and gets into every thing he possibly can. oh and he just started walking a few days ago(he is very proud of this and so is his mamma)
he loves climbing up on this case we had to move it away from the window so he would climb out and fall two storys.

alrighty my two sister are getting married so we have decided to make their wedding cakes! well we have never made a wedding cake before... so we decided to do a practice cake. it was so much fun and we got really creative. and just remember these are practice!

the bridge man in now into everything! yes that's right he is crawling (has been for the past 2 1/2 weeks) and he is into every thing! the good news though is that we are moving to a place that has carpet. that should be a bit easier on the little guy! we are moving to payson and we are really excited! we are still renting however =( but it will be a major upgrade from where we are now! yay no umbrella an the wall. anyhoo i'll post some pictures when we get there!

6 month update

so the bridge man will be 6 months on the 8th! wow time really flies. he had his well baby check up today and he is now 26 inches long and 19.8 pounds. he is my big boy! we also got the ok to move to rice cereal! i was so excited that i fed him some right when we got home. he loved it! my little chunk. i only made a little to start out because i wasn't sure but he ate it right up and started crying until i gave him a little more! (he apparently takes after me in the loving food department) he is also showing a lot of signs that he will be crawling soon! my baby is growing up so fast.

Chunky Monkey

i took our little ball of butter in for his 4 month doctors apt and boy is he growing. in weight he comes in at 90% weighing almost 18lbs. as for height he is only in the 75% at 25 inches he has however shown improvement in this area because at 2 months he was only in the 50%. he was very good at the apt flirting with the nurses and talking to the doc until they gave him his shots. however i think i cried more than he did. we also found out that he is teething. yes teething at 4 months. this does explain some grumpiness and a whole lot of drool. he sure has changed a lot in just 4 short months.

The month of the big 30

Aidan turned thirty this month. he requested brownies and stroganoff for his birthday dinner. then he had to go to work. However the night before we had my sister Heather babysit and went to Ruby River for dinner and then the mall to buy Aidan some new shoes. It sure was nice not to have to lug around (what feels like) a 50lb carrier.

Thirty candles sure put out a lot of smoke.

This picture is when Aidan dressed Bridger all by himself. When he brought him out looking like this he said Bridger was going to join a boy band! He just likes to tease me. (a lot)

Then last but not least this is the Bridgers only toy we can not stop Yoda from attacking. We keep putting the bear away and when we are not home or in a different room Yoda pulls him out and attacks it until he gets tired and just falls asleep on top of the bear. I think he thinks it's another dog and they are best friends.

Christmas was a lot of fun. this is some of the stuff bridger got christmas morning. aidan and i stayed at our house because he had to work christmas eve but at midnight when he got home we decided to try and beat the big storm and go to redmond that night. it was a long scary drive but we made it.

Bridger loved to eat the wrapping paper!

yoda even had fun opening up his presents. it was good because it kept him occupied so we could open our gifts.

this is a box of potato pearls! we asked for food storage this year and potato pears our one of our favorites.

i stayed at my parents for a week and adain went back up to provo to work. he came back for new years eve and we went to his grandparents and played a lot of fun games and had yummy food. it was fun to ring in the new year with them. bridger slept through it but that was ok. then on new years day we went sledding with all the picketts except tara. we took the four wheelers up and pulled everyone around. we even had a fire and roasted hot dogs and had hot chocolate. it was lots of fun!

christmas eve was good too i made a ham meal for aidan and i. then he went to work. bridger and i read christmas stories and watched the polar express. unfortunately i found a web site that i am now addicted too. it's bidz.com and i love it. it's an auction for jewlery and it is so much fun. i spent three hours and finally got off when aidan came home other wise i would have just kept bidding. i bought one necklace and since then have bought three rings and even got my sister into buying stuff. sorry mom. i hope eveyone else had a fun happy christmas.

Rock Band

aidan and i bought my sisters xbox 360 and her games. one of which was rock band. oh my goodness it is so much fun and so addicting. i have moved on in the guitar and now play medium instead of easy. well on the 17th it was my sister misty's birthday so all the girls got together to go christmas shoping. it was a lot of fun especially later that night when we got pizza and had a rock band tournament.
karissa is the best one out of all of us she's plays on hard and can do some of the easier songs on expert.

aidan really concentrating on the notes. nobody can do the drums on anything but easy.

we were even brave enough to sing. go tara!

it may not look like gavin is having fun but he got his turn at all the instruments. we were actually surprised that a 4year old could go so long without dying.

my mom even got in on the action and didn't get kicked off the stage once her very first time. we were so proud. you would think that all this time you spend playing a silly video game you could learn to play a real insturment.

aidan and i put up the christmas tree today and lets just say it takes up about one fourth of our front room. when i went to get it with my family up in the mountains it was on the side of a hill so it didn't look so big until after we cut it down. oh well aidan and i struggled a bit to get it in the house but once we got it to fit we sure had a lot of fun putting up the trimmings. bridger loves the tree he has just been staring at it all night. i just love christmas and this year is really special because i get to share it with my son. the last two were pretty hard to get through with out our little angel to share them with. she will still be missed but that's why christmas is even more special. whitout christ's birth we would have never had his atonment and sacrafice. i feel so blessed that as long as i do my part i will get to see her again. anyhoo i just love this whole month and wish it lasted all year but then i guess it wouldn't be as exciting.

we went to visit the jesops today and bridger loved the ladies he had so much fun with taylor and baylee. I swear we did not pose them to hold hands we just sat them by each other and bridger just too charge and he sure looks happy with baylee by his side. he is learning early how treat a woman:)

bridger was blessed on november 2, 2008 in the pleasant view 2nd ward. he was so cute but he is getting really big and barely fit into the white tux we borrowed and the outfit he is wore for the rest of the day is a 3-6month (he wasn't even 2months old). he had so much family there to support him on his special day.

this was bridger's 1st halloween. (for some reason the pictures down loaded in the wrong order sorry) the 1st picture is yoda out on the front porch swing waiting for the trick or treaters to come by.

This is bridger in his costume he is a skeleton inside a pumpkin kinda. but the skeleton actually glowed in the dark.

all we did for halloween was walk across the street because the neighbors had a scary mini spook ally thing that we walked through that was fun. then we spent the rest of the night handing out candy. poor bridge he'd just fall asleep in my arms when there would be a knock on the door. but it was ok i listed to christmas music most the night and played a lot of solitaire.

alright so yesterday i went a little weird. i had decided (after watching oprah) that i was going to roast a chicken. this was something new that i had never done before. i started with buying the cheapest 5lb chicken i could find and brought it home. then i began my extensive research on the Internet to learn just how to roast a chicken. i decided to go with a butter herb spread and to brine the chicken before hand. i even went to the store and bought fresh herbs. when it came time to push the spread up under the chicken skin it was very difficult i could barely get the skin to separate from the stupid bird. after a lot of hard work i threw it into a turkey bag and in the oven. by the time it was done it smelled so good but didn't look quiet like oprah's. i woke aidan up and we sat down and i began to carve the bird but the thing was all bones. aidan and i spent a lot of time picking off what we could until we were full. then it came time to put the food away and we began striping the rest of the meat off and aidan turned it over and there amazingly was all this white succulent meat. i had cooked that stupid thing upside down. no wonder it didn't look like the pictures. and the night just got worse. i had changed my shirt but the new one i put on was inside out. when bridger was in his regular fussy time we decided to go for a ride and get a drink. glad i ran into the store forgetting all about my shirt and wondering why the two other people in there kept staring at me. by the time we got back bridger was out and so was i. aidan got up to take care of him the first while and i guess when he came back into bed our conversation went like this.
me "where's the ketchup?"
aidan "what?"
me "i mean the hot dog?"
aidan "hu?"
me "well, what's the dogs name again?"
aidan "yoda?"
me "oh ya"
but i have absolutely no recollection of this but aidan said it was pretty funny. i really must have been tired. but i guess roasting a chicken really takes a lot out of ya.

I went home this last weekend to celebrate my moms, ravens and my own birthdays. it was a lot of fun and i was able to spend time with all my sisters. when i went down however i found out that my grandpas health is not doing so well and he may need to even get a pace maker. so i made sure bridger was able to get some pictures with him. we also have some pictures with his great grandparents on the goodwin side. the other picture i posted it just becouse i thought it was cute and well that's about it not to exciting of a post.

2 Weeks Old

in my younger years i remember walking around holding my dolls being the best mother in the world. i would wrap them up in their little blankets, feed them, change their diapers and brush their hair. i'm sure by the time i was 5 i was a perfect mother for those plastic little creations. even in high school i still got to play mommy for child development with an egg and with the simulated dolls that cry randomly and you have to hold the key until they shut up. but no amount of life training whether formal or just play time growing up trained me for this. the bridge is two week old now and wow i haven't had time to do really anything for myself. all he does is cry, poop and eat. and then with maybe an hour of sleep the cycle begins again cry, poop, eat. there is no magic key to hold to turn the loud crying off and instead of the wonderful smell of plastic out comes a mustard yellow stink (and that is not an egg yolk like what happened to my egg baby). i never knew how long a night could last until now. but slowly things are changing or i'm changing. i don't care anymore if i get poop on my hands or spit up down my shirt like i use to when it was my nieces and nephews. i love that i can pick something so little and scared after getting his foot poked by the nurse and have him cuddle to his mommy for comfort. i love that most the time when he is screaming it's because we just can't figure out what he wants. for instance last night he was so hungry but he wouldn't eat i had done everything i could think of i even warmed the bottle for the third time i began to thing i must have just ate something bad and he was rejecting my breast milk. then aidan came out and tried for a bit and then he pulled out the bottle and it wasn't letting any food out of the nipple. after i quickly fixed the problem little brigder settled right down had dinner and went right to sleep. so now after two weeks a no sleep and having an infant show you how many mistake you make you learn how to really serve and to really love unconditionally. because when i think there may be some real problem going on with the little guy all he wants to do is cry, poop and eat but he always mixes it with a whole lot of love. something a plastic doll can never teach you.

This is a blanket her aunts made for her and it is what she was buried with to keep warm.
this is the only big expensive gift i'll ever be able to buy for her and i made sure it was perfect.
it was amazing how giving others are in a time of need we felt so loved by so many.
aidan was my strength during this time and yoda bear helped to fill in the hollowness i felt and helped me to get up out of bed every morning. he will always be special to us.

this is me holding my little girl in the hospital i only got to have her in my arms for such a short time but i'm glad i did have that opportunity. she is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen.

i'm sorry if this blog bother some people. i however have been thinking a lot about my first child since this is about the time in my 1st pregnancy that we lost her. i am putting up some pictures of things that have a special place in my heart that remind me of her. then next week i'll hopefully get to put up some really cute pictures of her bother. but she'll never be forgotten or replaced.

this is pretty much all that goes on after i come home from work. yoda loves to cuddle up to my belly but we've run out of room on the couch for the three of us so yoda has found a nice spot to hang out right on top of me and baby. the picture of aidan is when we watched his parents dog little buddy. you can sure tell some one is jealous in this picture. i love dogs so much they have so much more personality then i ever could have imagined. i can't wait to have a new addition to our home (that however will be three boys with one girl i don't know how i'm going to handle it).

Good News

well i have good news i will be having baby in one month. yephoo. we have scheduled an induction on sept. 11th. so unless baby comes earlier sept 11 will be his birthday. well that's about all i have to say i'm just hoping baby can survive in my womb that long. it's getting close to the time that we lost ella so yes i've been freaking out and having a lot of stress. i have been paying really close attention to babies movements and it's kinda sad but i report to aidan everyday to let him know that yes baby is still alive. that's about were our focus has been which is why we are way behind on having every thing ready for baby. i just don't think i can come home to any empty nursery again so we haven't really set it up. but no worries i have been working on it just slowly. when you have a baby after having a stillborn they call it a rainbow baby because it is the rainbow after the storm. let me tell you it has been a storm and one that i didn't think i'd ever see the end. so just a few more weeks of hurricane and then the sun will come out. anyways enough with all the personal blabber. we are excited.

bear lake was a lot of fun. we rented a cabin that was up on the hill and we had a beautiful view of the lake from the deck. it was a lot of fun. we spent a lot of time at the lake just hanging out. we also went to the pickleville playhouse to a western mellow drama and not only did the kids love it the adults had fun booing and hissing too. we tried to go to the cave that is up in idaho and drove all the way to find out it was a two hour wait and decided to just go back to the lake. no worries we made sure we got a famous raspberry shake yummy. it was a lot of fun hanging out with the family and playing games and talking. we are going to try and plan something for next year even if it is just camping we want to get back together again.

so aidan and i have really done pretty much nothing to get ready for this baby. i'm sure this has been out of fear of getting attached and then loosing so much again it's just easier not to think about it. but now that i have started thinking about it there is only two months left and if this baby makes it home we are soo not prepared. So now that i'm really really pregnant i swear i can't get enough food. i do not feel full it doesn't matter how much i eat. anyways aidan and i went on a date last night it was soo much fun and it's been a while since we went out and did something together in public. he took me to dinner and i wanted country fried steak so we went to this dive of a restaurant and i got my steak. however i ate everything including most of aidan's meal. the waitress even brought me another salad because she accidental took my first that i was still working on. well after dinner we went up to cascade golf course and did some miniature golfing. i would like to say that i won. even with all of aidan cheating i still won. i had a blast. we didn't want the night to end so we decided that getting a shake would be a good idea and go figure it was(a good idea). i was a little upset because we should have taken the camera so i could have posted some photos but what can ya do.

Well my honey bunny who spends countless hours play WOW (world of war craft) as seen in the picture above was able to fix the swamp cooler. so to all my worried fans out there, that i'm sure were very concerned about my comfort and well being, can rest assured that i am finally able to come to a cool home. my puppy is also very great full to aidan for accomplishing this feat and likes to lay under the cool air in the hallway making a small road block for a big mama bear like me to have to navigate around. he think he owns the place and can get very demanding of his time and space. it will be interesting when baby gets here and he has to take a back seat. i just hope that he doesn't feel like lady did on "lady and the tramp" and run away from home and eat a lot of spaghetti. well that reminds me we still have not come up with a name. honestly we haven't really been trying too hard to find one but if anyone has some ideas let me know because we are running out of time. i will also have to post some pictures of baby's nursery when it gets all set up. our little boy will be in a lovely girl nursery for the first year of his life. oh well what can ya do. well i'd better run.

it's flipping hot. our swamp cooler is broken and i think i am going to die. in the evening i just lay on the couch drinking ice water and dream of being in a huge freezer. i did get a baby pool which is very refreshing when it is first filled the water is nice and cold but after a day the sun heats the water up making it useless. this weekend i finally went to redmond and got the truck and brought up a ladder (and all of ella's old stuff) in hopes that aidan could use his magic hands and fix the cooler. however this place is such an old p.o.s. that hasn't been taken care of very well that the cooler was unfixable. so now i have to continue roasting like a thanksgiving turkey in this oven of an apt. well now that i have vented for a few minutes i guess i'll tell ya'll what's been going on in our world. um let me think. i pretty sure just about nothing has been going on. aidan hates his job he has been working graves. and i hate my job which i have been going in for nine hours a day now. i do work with some really great people however but there are some really mean people out there that happen to be a few landscapers. but this is all boring stuff what would be fun is if you stopped reading this and actually came over and then we could have a BBQ by the pool. just give us a call and let us know so i can fill it up.

My friend Becca came up from Vegas for a few days and we took our dogs up to cascade springs and to see sundance. It was a lot of fun however painful it was after the small hike. nothing like being swollen and pregnant. It was well worth it and a lot of fun.

It's a Boy

well we found out that we are having a boy. crazy to think that i will have a boy after growing up in a family of girls. however we are very excited. he'll be in a little girly bedroom for the first six month's because that is the stuff we have for the cradle and i worked my butt off sewing it all for ella. but he won't know any difference besides it's only peach and green so it's not like it will be pink or anything. then we will get boy stuff to go with a crib. i can't even believe that i am half way there.

well this weekend was fun. misty, the girls and my mom came up for the day. heather brought the boys over and we went to the park with kfc and had a picnic and flew kites. it was a lot of fun we also did some shopping and played some game cube. aidan stayed home with yoda until he had to go to work. i wish i had remembered to take my camera with me but i didn't so i put up this picture of the yods and aidan. but i am going to take some updated pictures soon.

Baby's been moving

well it's offical i feel like there is life inside of me. i have been able to feel baby moving in there and it sure feels good. i already am huge even though i am not even half way i feel like there is twins in there. the ultra sound will be in about three more weeks so yea. i had my family up this weekend during conference we had a BBQ on Sunday at my place. heather and tyler have been moving all weekend into there new town house. but because i'm prego i wasn't much help and was pretty sick anyways. aidan has started his new schedule and i have been having a hard time adjusting to his being gone so late at night. not only am i counting down the days to to baby but that's when i will get to quit my job. i've never understood how a mother would choose to work instead of being a full time mom. unless of course out of necessity. i hate working and would love to take care of my kids all day. well i need to down load some new pics to the computer but they are all of yoda so i haven't been in to much of a hurry. well life has been going well.

nothing new

well since nobody really looks at my blog i guess i can write whatever i want. nothing new has been going on easter was good we went down to sevier county nothing to exciting. we did watch ari for two nights he is really cute and did really well. he liked to pull out all the gatorade's and put them on the floor so aidan would go and put them right back. well about five min. later ari would take them right back off the shelf again. poor aidan he just kept putting them back in the same spot and ari would just keep getting them back out. i thought it was pretty funny. we went to the park up the canyon and went for a walk with a stroller that had a flat tire. yoda and ari had a lot of fun running around. then we took him down to redmond and we all went to the easter outing. aidan and i went over to the goodwins and had an easter dinner with his parents and grandparents. i am now 15 weeks pregnant and i am getting excited about the ultra sound in 5 more week wo ho. well i guess i will get back to work.

Starting a new blog

well i am really borred at work so i am starting a blog. i don't really know what to write so i guese i'll just start babbling. aidan and i have been married three and a half years and it feels like it has been forever. we lived in orem for the 1st year and a half then we moved to vegas for a while and now we are back in provo. we are not really fans of provo and would really like to get away from hear. i loved vegas but aidan didn't hopefully we will find somewere we both like. we have a dog he is a west highland white terrier and his name is yoda. he is a little spit fire and is full of energy and always ready to give anyone loves. i didn't like dogs before but yoda has really filled a very hollow space in my heart. we got him about six months after we lost our first child and he has been the best therapy money could buy. i really want another dog so he can have a friend while aidan and i are at work. we almost got one but then i found out that i was pregnant in january and i became too sick to train a new puppy. it has been stressful these last three months due to the pregnancy i've been sick but not as bad as i was with my first. the stressfull part has been that we had no benefits and make way to much money to get government help. also stressfull is the fear of having another stillborn we try not to think about it but i'm sure when it comes close to the time we lost ella it will be extremely hard. anyways lets not think about that. so here we are i am now 14 weeks pregnant and will be going to the doctor this week for my second check up. aidan and i are watching my one year old nefew ari this weekend while my other nefew gavin in having his big surgery to get his chin to grow so that he can breath on his own. it will be an interesting two days he is quite the handfull. then we are going to go home and visit family that is always fun. well since i am at work i had better stop rambling and see if i can get this set up how i like it.
